“EL JEFE”

Alinca Hamilton is the “El Jefe” (yes, the boss) behind Squeaky Wheelz Productions (SWP). She is an actor, writer, producer, and certified mood lifter working on stage and in film.

She holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Columbia University with the other co-conspirators at SWP. Select acting credits include: January (MultiStages); Clyde’s (Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Arkansas Repertory Theater); To All the Black Girls Who’ve Waited (Ars Nova); Mud Row (Premiere Stages); the Audelco Award-nominated Gong Lum’s Legacy (New Federal Theater); and Growing Up (Disney+).

Her writing work has been recognized as a semifinalist for the NYSCA/NYSFA Artist Fellowship and the Fresh Voices Competition.

A New Yorker to her core, please don’t ask her to drive — unless it’s the creative vision, in which case, buckle up!
