ALINCA HAMILTON* is a born and bred New York actor, writer, and creator living in Harlem. Select acting credits include Mud Row (Premiere Stages); Gong Lum’s Legacy (New Federal Theater); Julius Cesar (Classic Stage Company); the title character in the short Melody June Cooper: Actress* for Hire, which she conceived and produced; and Letitia in Clyde’s (Alabama Shakespeare Festival). CANDACE BOAHENE* is a Ghanaian-American multi-hyphenated artist originally from Brooklyn, NY and raised in Columbus, OH. She received her BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and an MFA in Theatre from Columbia University. Theatre credits include: School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play (Pittsburgh Public Theater), Romeo and Juliet (Classical Theatre of Harlem); In the Red and Brown Water; A Streetcar Named Desire; and Mister Paradise (Columbia University). Off-Broadway: Water (The Tank NYC). She thanks God for everything! A massive thanks to her family, friends, her management team (Vanguard), her church family (KFT) and her mentors for their endless support towards her dreams. “Our Black is Beautiful.”

DAWN ELIZABETH CLEMENTS* is a native of Bessemer, Alabama and is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Acting Program. Dawn has been seen in productions such as Pride and Prejudice (Lydia/Lady Catherine de Bourgh), Blue Prints to Freedom: An Ode to Bayard Rustin (Miriam Caldwell), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), In the Red and Brown Water (Mama Moja, The Woman That Reminds, and Nia) and many more. Dawn has also been seen on CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted as Donette. She is extremely excited about this wonderful production and dedicates this piece to her Mama and Audi. Jeremiah 29:11

HOPE R. WARD* is an Actor, poet, and second year PhD student in a media art and text program. Her work as an actor, writer, and academic recognizes and is derived through the synonymity of Black Feminism and universal humanity. Her most recent credits include Antigone in Baltimore Center Stage’s production of Antigone and Tyree in the Off-Broadway production of Bundle of Sticks at Intar Theater. She has appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s Love My Roomie and Hawk’s Ridge, and HBO’s Succession.

JASMINE EILEEN COLES* is a local NYC artist whose work is grounded in Ritual Poetic Drama within the African Continuum. This methodology by Dr. Tawyna Pettiford Wates offers an indigenous perspective on storytelling that is cyclical vs linear and honors revelation versus resolution. Jasmine’s work spans from original one woman shows, children’s books, community residencies, teaching artist work, and holistic health and healing nutrition workshops. Her most recent Theatre credits include, Maria/Valentino/Antonio in Twelfth Night (American Shakespeare Center), Jean5 in Thrive  (American Shakespeare Center), Solo performer in Mr. Joy ( Lake Dillion Theatre), Beneatha in A Raisin in the Sun ( Virginia Repertory Theatre), Bert in Berta Berta (The New Theatre). 

ODERA ADIMORAH* is thrilled to join this production of To All the Black Girls Who’ve Waited. Other theatre credits include: Blood Knot at Flat Rock Playhouse, Arizona Theater Company’s production of Master Harold and the Boys, Classical Theater of Harlem’s production of Romeo and Juliet, Columbia Stages production of In the Red and Brown Water (Sango), Funnyhouse of a Negro (Patrice Lumumba) and Unpacking: A Ghost Story at the Here Arts Center. I feel blessed to go on this journey and to bring this ever-relevant story to life.

TIFFANY SMALL* is a New York based actor and graduate of Columbia University's MFA Acting Program. In addition to a Master's Degree she also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brenau University with a concentration in Theatre Performance. She has worked both on stage and on screen in the Midwest and in NYC over the last decade. Tiffany has lent her talents to New York Theatre Workshop, Roundabout Theatre, and Classic Stage Company and has performed internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. When she’s not creating theatre she enjoys reading, eating (huge foodie), doing hair and make-up, traveling both domestically and internationally, and being a mommy to the most amazing little female tyrant.
